Galveston and NASA

We went down to Galveston with some friends earlier this summer, and we had a blast! We forgot to take any pictures, but one of my friends did get this one of Charlie and his buddy Graham.

We took Charlie to NASA a few weeks ago, and I'm pretty sure he would have stayed there forever if we'd have let him! They have a new display-a huge airplane that carries a huge space shuttle-it was awesome!!

The traveling display when we went was Mythbusters-we love that show!! The interactive displays were so fun.

This one was for finding out how long you could hang from a ledge before you fell-like in the movies :) None of us did very well-it's hard!

Dork shots on the tram tour!

Houston, we have a problem...

You seriously can't go to NASA without getting a picture in front of this!

So, this is the big airplane and shuttle I mentioned in the first picture. We got to go inside of them, and it was really cool!

Charlie got to go to Book of Mormon day camp after we got back to Houston (which he loved!), and he got to plant a seed and watch it grow (faith is like a seed...). But he got a little over-excited about it, and he accidentally pulled the plant out after it had gotten probably a foot tall. So we went to the dollar store and got some seeds and planted them. It's been fun to watch them grow since this is the closest thing we can have to a garden!

Merry Christmas!

Here is our Christmas tree this year.

Charlie really liked the idea of putting cookies out for Santa on Christmas Eve. So we did that, and then he insisted that the reindeer needed something too...so we put carrots out for them :)

Christmas day...we all got majorly spoiled!

These were for me... :)

Birthday Boy!!!

I can't believe our boy is already 4!!

Charlie loves his new Mickey shirt and hat from Grandma and Grandpa Godfrey!

And he loves his new beanbag chair from Grandma and Grandpa Niederhauser! And yes, that is a My Little Pony blanket from me (I don't think Craig will claim that as a gift from him!)...he loves it :)

Ok, so Charlie couldn't decide how he wanted his cake decorated...it literally changed every ten minutes. So, I just did a little of everything!

And he loved it :)

The Ultimate White Elephant Gifts

I know I already showed off the epic white elephant gifts we took to a party (both proudly handmade by me!), but I thought it would be fun to put them on here to show anyway :)

Yes that is real underwear...

Christmas FHE

A couple of weeks before Christmas, we decided to go to this neighborhood not too far from us known for it's Christmas lights. We were not disappointed! I didn't really get any pictures, but I did get a picture of Charlie helping me make peppermint bark to take with us and one of the best decorated houses in the neighborhood!

Ok, best decorated according to us... :)

Cast

Here's our crazy boy with his cast-just as happy as can be!

Some random lizard sculpture outside Texas Children's Hospital.

Downtown in the Medical Center they had some fun Christmas decorations that Charlie just had to check out :)

Yes that's right-shorts and a t-shirt 2 days before Christmas...it was 80 degrees and muggy. Lovely.

Here he is getting his cast off. He did great :)

This was Charlie laughing and saying, "That tickles!" It was pretty cute :)
