Giant Baby, Tiny Head

We wrapped Charlie up in a big fluffy blanket, and it made him look like his head was way to small for his body :)

Big Boy Clothes

Charlie is now five weeks old and has officially graduated out of his newborn clothes and diapers! Here are some of the new outfits we have had a chance to put him in.

Funny Baby

Sitting like an old man.
Charlie looks up to his grandpas so much that he tries to pose like them.

Another gym mishap...notice how his right hand is caught in the rings :)

Push-ups

Charlie has been working out lately. Here he is starting a push-up...

...one!

...and back down. He maxes out at one :)

Play Time

I put Charlie in his little play gym thing to see what he would do. He batted one of the hanging things into his face, which scared him, so then he just stuck to laying there showing off his impressive arm span and kicking the hanging things instead :)

Charlie takes after his cross-eyed mother :) For those of you who don't know, I was born with a lazy eye, and it made me slightly cross-eyed by the time I was four. Good times :)

First Real Bath

Now that his umbilical cord is gone, Charlie got his first real bath. He didn't really like it, but he was fine once he was all wrapped up in his towel.

Randomness

Charlie is already learning how to strike poses. And this picture really shows the red in his hair, which we think is pretty awesome :)

Charlie loves his bouncer chair...as long as someone is there bouncing it constantly...

Sometimes when we're burping Charlie, he gets really wide-eyed and his neck goes stiff-it's really funny :)

He's still not sure how he feels about his swing...

Craig got right up in Charlie's face with the camera, and this is the face he pulled :) This is another one where you can see the red hair :)

Family Picture

Our first non-dork shot family picture :)

A Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Niederhauser

Hanging out with Grandpa before church.

Hanging out with Grandma while the rest of us went to church.

On Monday we got a good old fashioned Texas rainstorm. It flooded downtown, which was where we had originally planned on going, so we went to the Woodlands Mall instead. This is me holding two umbrellas with one hand while holding a suitcase upright with the other hand so that my dad could get Charlie's stroller into the back of their rental car. We are so multi-talented :)

Charlie is frowning because we ate ice cream in front of him and he got stuck with a bottle of soy formula. Poor guy!

Grandpa and Charlie at the mall.

Eating at Pappasito's-yum!

Grandma's top two priorities: #1 Charlie. #2 The Container Store.

All tuckered out after playing so hard with Grandma and Grandpa!
My parents came down for a few days to visit little Charlie. He had such a good time with them! We, of course, had the two staples of Texas-barbecue and Blue Bell. My mom also fulfilled her dream of going to The Container Store :) Charlie enjoyed his first outings with Grandma and Grandpa and did what most men want to do during shopping trips-he slept :)

Thanks, Grandma Godfrey!

Charlie loves his new Tiger bum outfit from Grandma :)

Charlie's Sweet Ride!

Charlie loves his new stroller! We took him on a long walk at the park today and he was so excited about doing it that he wore himself out and slept the whole time :)

A Texas Christmas

These were our Christmas presents to each other this year-now we really fit in!

Dork Shots and Stuff

Here are our first family dork shots. The first attempt was slightly more successful than the second one.

Here's Charlie chilling with his daddy.
