Little Monkey

This kid already loves to photo bomb. I was trying to take a picture of this blanket a while back, and Charlie just jumped right in!

This kid does not stop moving...ever!

Charlie was playing in the laundry room the other day, and when I turned around he wasn't there. Then I heard the banging around in the dryer... :)

We had dinner the other night with some of our friends, and Charlie and his buddy Payton had a grand time. Here they are icing sugar cookies. I know you can't see it, but there is, in fact, a cookie under Charlie's pile of sprinkles :)

Happy Halloween!!

Charlie came home from Utah this summer insisting on being The Doctor for Halloween. Craig and I were thrilled, of course! Here's our happy little Doctor with his Tardis (it's bigger on the inside).

In case you're not familiar with Doctor Who, here is our inspiration for Charlie's costume-down to the floody pants :)

Ok, so my shirt says Companion, but you couldn't really see it well...oops. But The Doctor almost always travels with a companion, and the Daleks are The Doctor's mortal enemies, so that's what Craig and I were :)

Charlie has been very into bees and honey lately, so he insisted on carving a bee into our pumpkin. It turned out great :)

Home Depot Kids Workshop

We took Charlie to the Home Depot Kids Workshop a few weeks ago, and it was awesome!! They had two fire engines and an ambulance that you could climb inside and look at. The firemen and EMTs were there to answer questions-it was so cool! Add free snow cones and popcorn and a wooden fire truck to take home and Charlie was in heaven :)

Since we've been home

Here are a few pictures of some things we've done since we got back from Utah in July.

We took Charlie to his first movie-The Minion Movie! We had so much fun! This theater has roomy recliners, as you can see, which were perfect for our squirmy boy.

This was a sign I saw on the dumpster in our parking lot. It's not abnormal to see this kind of thing (directing parking for parties people have), but this one was ridiculous...I mean, come on, really?

We got Charlie some new church clothes-doesn't he look so handsome?!

We totally scored Hi Ho! Cherry-O for two bucks at Half Price Books! Charlie has been loving it :)

Charlie's friend Graham loves Buzz Lightyear right now, so that is what his birthday party theme was last week. My friend Jillie made these cute spaceships for the kids-they were so cute!

Making Volcanoes

Charlie loves volcanoes, so while I was in Utah for Grandma's funeral, Craig helped Charlie to make one. This is one of his favorite activities!

Charlie decided he didn't want to pick up his banana to eat, so he just took a bite right out of the middle while it was laying on the table...crazy boy :)

So helpful...

Charlie helped me get a suitcase out for my trip this weekend and then asked if he could help me pack. Looks like he got all the essentials!
