Charlie helped me get a suitcase out for my trip this weekend and then asked if he could help me pack. Looks like he got all the essentials!

My crazy boys...
Craig and Charlie were playing with the camera the other day-these are the only pictures that didn't turn out blurry :)
Charlie loves his Sunbeam shirt from Grandma and Grandpa Godfrey-he calls it his sunshine shirt :)
Old MacDonald's Farm
There is this really cool place out in Humble called Old MacDonald's Farm that we went to a couple of weeks ago. They had pony rides, a little train ride, a petting zoo, playgrounds, and a giant pile of sand. It was so fun! We went with a couple of my friends and their kiddos.
The first thing we did, of course, was to take a train ride.
I got Charlie a little bag of animal food-he loved feeding the animals.
This was the old train that they used for train rides.
Charlie got right up on this pony like a champ! He loved his pony ride!!
Charlie took this picture of his friend Lydia riding the pony.
He also took the next three pictures of a pony, his friend Noke (pronounced No-kay), and a deer.
In the chicken coop...
Noke, Lydia, Charlie, my friends Aurie and Kendra, and Kendra's little girl, Rachelle. (Noke belongs to Aurie, and Lydia is Noke's cousin.)
The giant sand pile...this is probably where Charlie spent most of his time...shocker.
Here is Charlie channeling his inner Napoleon Dynamite.
He ran over to this and said, "I want to be a chicken!"
Pony ride #2
Hail Storm!
We got a freak hail storm a few weeks ago. It literally only lasted about 30 seconds, and then it started raining. It was cool!
I know this picture is a little blurry, but it's from our window while it was coming down.
Charlie thought it was pretty awesome :) He loved holding the hail.
Birthday and Easter
Since my birthday was on the Saturday of Conference this year, we celebrated on Friday-Craig had the day off, which worked out rather nicely :) We went downtown to the huge Children's Museum (and forgot the camera...) and then came home and had dinner and cake and ice cream. As soon as the candles were out of the cake, Charlie grabbed his plastic knife that he'd been eating icing off of and started cutting his own piece-it was hilarious! He is quite the independent boy...
My cake kind of looked like a watermelon...
The Easter Bunny hid eggs all over the couch for Charlie. He also got Legos in his Easter basket-lucky boy :)
