Out with the old...

...and in with the new!!!

We finally did it-we siad goodbye to my old Camry. We decided that a 17-year-old car with 188,000 miles on it wasn't worth putting $3,000 worth of repairs into, so we got a new car. I was a little sad to see my old car go-it was a great car! But as I've been driving my new Corolla around today-enjoying the luxury of air conditioning and a ceiling that isn't falling down-I've gotten over it :)

I laid Charlie down on the edge of the couch cushion, and between his being extra squrimy and the slope of the cushion, he face-planted it into the crack :) He didn't even cry-he just patiently waited for me to pick him up :)
Also, Charlie is 4 months old today! We went to the doctor, and he weighs in at a whopping 14 lbs, 12 oz (50th percentile), and he is 25 1/2 inches long (70th percentile)-still tall and skinny :)

Bluebonnet Festival!

Last Saturday we went up to Chappell Hill to the Bluebonnet Festival. There were a lot of cool booths, lots of good food, and of course, pretty flowers. We did kind of hit the tail-end of the flowers, so there weren't as many as there had been, but it was much better than last year when the flowers were sad and shriveled from the drought.

Ready for the Pool!

Since we've basically skipped Spring down here, we've had to get Charlie all ready to start swimming! We have a pool in our apartment complex, so sometime soon we'll take him and see how it goes!

3 1/2 Month Old Babies

Birthday Bash

Lisa's birthday was this week-we spread it out over the week and did cake and ice cream on Sunday, went out to dinner on Wednesday, and went to a movie Thursday (Hunger Games!!). You'll notice there are only 6 candles on the cake...yeah, we forgot to buy candles. Oops!

Blue Bell...mmm! The pints were on sale for a dollar this week-it's like they knew it was birthday week!

Charlie was a little jelaous that he didn't get any cake and ice cream...
