Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is Charlie looking at his Thanksgiving meal in disgust while reaching for his binkie :) He's not big on table food-picky little dude-so he wasn't into it. He did try a green bean, though, so that's a step.

Playing fat dog after eating. Really, they're just resting. Both of them were sick this week, so they were both pretty worn out.

New Stuff

Here is Charlie in his awesome new shoes! He loves them so much that he tries to put them on his feet by himself :)

My roommate from college-Chailyn-sent Charlie this adorable monster towel-Charlie loves it :) Thanks, Chi!

New Car Seat

We got Charlie a new car seat this week. It's a convertible one that's a little bigger than his other one and will turn to forward-facing when Charlie is a little older.

I wish I had gotten a picture like 10 seconds earlier than this one when his hands were on the ground and his body was still in the seat-it was so funny! He was a little too fast for me, though.

Learning how to climb into things...

First time in the car!

Playing

Caught red-handed! Charlie was trying to get into our candy stash that we keep in the cupboard-he definitely has a sweet tooth!

Getting ready for bed while Mommy is at mutual.

I was washing the dishes the other day while Charlie was playing with the recycle bin-one of his favorite things to do. I looked over and he had climbed into the box-it was hilarious!

Charlie wasn't too sure about this big box until I climbed in and showed him how it was done. After climbing in half way, he wasn't interested anymore :)

He was, of course, more interested in the camera :)

Halloween!

I took Charlie to play group on Halloween, and all of the kids dressed up in their costumes. Here is our little pumpkin in the swing waving :)

Charlie loves the swings :)

Dinner on Halloween was "Monster Joes". This was Craig's creation-it was just a sloppy joe with pickle/ranch eyes :) That's about as creative as we get!

And here are our pumpkins!

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

Utah State, hey! Aggies all the way! Go Aggies! Go Aggies! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Carve this I did.

I wish you could have seen this in person-these pictures don't do this one justice!

Funny Clothes and a Funny Boy

We had a nice cold front come through last weekend, and it got down into the 40's at night. We went to get the mail one night and dressed Charlie up in this sweet old man outfit :) He looked awesome :)

Poor little thug! Charlie is so tall and skinny that we only have one pair of jeans that fit him well! I tried these ones on him, and the length was great, but the waist was apparently too big :) (I'm beginning to understand what Heidi goes through with Anna!) At least he'll fit in down here with all of the other thugs!

I had to buy Charlie some new jammies when it was cold because we don't have any that fit him (they're size 18 month, by the way, because the 12 month ones are too short for our little 10 month old!). I put the Buzz Lightyear ones and the Cars ones side by side in front of him, and he looked back and forth at them, and then pointed at the Buzz ones-I would have picked those ones too :)

Charlie does this funny thing where he loves to climb around on the bed and burrow his face in random spots. It leaves nice big slobber marks, and when he's getting a tooth and has a runny nose, it leaves snot marks too-lovely :) But it is so dang funny!

Learning New Things...

I let Charlie have his own spoon and let him feed himself a jar of peaches. He actually ate about 3/4 of the jar by himself (I held the jar of course)! A lot of it got on him, but he still did pretty well-it was pretty funny to watch :)

Charlie loves to play by the window and holler at all of the cars that pass by :)

Charlie's first black eye-kind of :) He was climbing around this wire shelf in our dining area, and he slipped and smacked his face on it. His poor little eye swelled up and bruised a little bit, but I figure it's kind of a rite of passage for little boys :)

Fall Festival

Charlie was a big hit at the ward Fall Festival-he was easily the cutest baby there!

Charlie with two of my Young Women-Mollie and Ashley.

We also went to Craig's Fall Carnival at his school before the ward party. Charlie got his very own Iron Man blow up toy and a jump rope!

This costume is adorable! Thanks Grandma Niederhauser!
